How to Measure (Perfect Fit, Every Time)

how to measure size guide

The size chart posted is to help you achieve the perfect fit, every time. Measure around the smallest natural point at the waist for your waist measurement. Measure around the largest point at your hips. For your bust measurement, measure around your chest at apex.

The measurements shown on the size chart are body measurements. After you have measured find your body measurements on the chart to help determine the size you should purchase. Always keep the measuring point parallel to the floor for the most accurate measurements. Do not measure over clothing.

Don't have a measuring tape? Use a soft string and mark your start and end points of measuring. Grab something that you know the measurements to such as an 8.5" x 11" paper and use one of the sides to add up your measurements.

Three Bird Nest sells a wide range of globally sourced unique clothing. The sizing and cuts do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but in general our size charts will help you achieve the perfect fit, every time. We offer both Junior Silhouettes + Young Contemporary Cut sized clothing so please refer to the product(s) description to determine the cut.

Junior fits are typically cut and designed for a “younger” customer. These silhouettes tend to run on the smaller side and we will note this in the product description(s). The majority of our items are a "Young Contemporary" sized cut. Our contemporary designs are just a bit more generous than a juniors cut and we describe as “runs true to size” in most listings.
